A wise friend emailed me a few weeks ago and reminded me of something that I needed to hear.
I mentioned that I was having a bit of a rough weekend at that time and that I had felt like walking/running about 20K today instead of my 10K just to blow off steam. ⠀⠀
The ah-ha moment was this. ⠀⠀

Yes! I know this so why am I in this crap mindset right now? and where is my energy…the nectar of life, going? ⠀⠀
I walk it, I preach it, I keep keep keep practicing mindset because we all know practice is the thing that’s going to help us improve, right?! ⠀⠀
I got out of the house and got to my local track where I walk, run and now do sprints every damn day. Because that is exactly what helps snap me back into focusing on what matters here and now. It takes a tremendous amount of practice to work with our minds. If you have goals don’t let the negatives creep in, find your energy and find what works for you to keep you on your path. ⠀⠀
