Here I am sitting in my rooftop tent in the middle of the Rocky Mountains. Reflecting on my day full of hummingbirds, hikes, good food, morning coffee, good conversation, drawing and encounters with a deer family. This beautiful deer walked into our campsite today. She was protecting another deer with babies and we believe her goal was to distract us so we wouldn’t bother the mother and babies. It was brilliantly beautiful. Nature is healing. It truly sets you in the moment. It gives you that chance to breathe and take in everything around you. It takes away scattered emotions. Take this time to stop and take a deep breath. Stop and smell the flowers. Disconnect and reconnect with nature.
