doTERRA has a trademark, “Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade.” So, what does that mean? It is a term that doTERRA created, it is not a regulated term, but it serves a great meaning. Most essential oil companies these days are not a reliable source for good quality oils, with unsustainable practices. doTERRA is a company that is consistent in their standards, they are willing to lose money rather than sell poor batches of oil. They created higher standards for their oils, regulating the way the plants are grown, harvested, distilled, and delivered. The term CPTG stands for many things, most of all, reliability and trust.
doTERRA’s Commitment To Quality
• Plant Potency: doTERRA understands how important it is to grow plants in the correct soil, temperature, and climate. When these factors are optimal, the plant will be able to reach its highest potency.
• Oil Purity: Growing plants without the use of chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides. doTERRA essential oils are better than organic because they have the ability to see even the smallest component in each lot of oil. If there is anything contained in the essential oil that was not naturally produced by nature in the plant with nothing added, it is rejected. Every dōTERRA essential oil is tested according to the CPTG quality protocol before it is available for purchase.
• Testing: It’s important to understand that doTERRA does have it’s own lab testing on site, but they also use multiple rounds of third-party testing of every batch of oil, to ensure that the highest quality oils are going out into the world.
• Distillation: doTERRA is consistent with being exact and careful with the distillation process, using the right temperature, time, and pressure unique to each plant.
Cō-Impact Sourcing is an initiative that seeks to develop long-term, mutually beneficial supplier partnerships while creating sustainable jobs and providing reliable income in underdeveloped areas around the world. dōTERRA is committed to the ethical treatment of its suppliers by providing on-time payments at fair prices.
Knowing the kind of commitment doTERRA has with their worldwide partnerships, was one of the many reasons I decided to go with these essential oils. doTERRA brought in the proper equipment, to these underdeveloped areas, where certain plants grow best, and they help the community. They taught the people precise skills on how to distill and grow quality plants. They are paying higher on time wages to the growers, something that was not happening before when these communities were selling their plants to distillers.
doTERRA is doing something that no one else has done for these communities, and it continues to grow with the help of the Healing Hands non-profit organization created to give back to communities. Yes, it just keeps getting better. First, watch these short videos, then scroll down and learn about Healing Hands.
Healing Hands is doTERRA’s non-profit organization created to give back to communities. Healing Hands seeks to bring healing and hope to the world, for lives free of disease and poverty, and to ultimately empower impoverished communities with the tools needed to become self-reliant.
They partner with organizations, such as Days for Girls, Social Tea House, and Operation Underground Railroad Rescue. And that is a tiny fraction of what Healing Hands does for millions all over the world.
“dōTERRA is a place where you can create freedom that most people only dream of. Many people spend their lives trading hours for dollars with no end in sight, never having the freedom to pursue their true passions and purpose. Create a different story with dōTERRA”
I will fully admit that I was not going to start this as a business. I was VERY clear about that when enrolling. I wanted nothing to do with an MLM (multi-level marketing, also known as network marketing or direct sales). This IS very different than a “pyramid scheme”, which is illegal. But after a few months of learning from the amazing team I am on (and be sure you enroll with a team that resonates with you, and that they are truly there to help you advance), with an open heart I dived in, and I will never look back. Here is why.
doTERRA chose the MLM model because they knew that in order to get oils in people’s hands and take essential oils mainstream, they needed to do something different other than selling them off the shelf in a store. They needed to empower consumers to learn about oils and how to use them safely and effectively. Empowerment takes education and education takes time. The company invests their marketing budget into their members, empowering us to learn more, share better, and improve their lives financially too.
Here’s the thing, most people can not make a living at most MLM companies because their compensation plans are really unfair and set up in an impossible way to get bonuses and a decent compensation. doTERRA is nothing of the sort. I work hard with learning, teaching and sharing these oils with others, and I love it so much! I love the LRP (Loyalty Rewards Program) point system and that the percentage of what we get on commissions can reach up to 30%! There is so much to love about working with doTERRA. It is the best company I have ever worked with, and I have worked with a lot of companies in my lifetime.
